This time I cheated: I found this Suzuki Ls 650 Savage mid neglect, with a series of works to be done but already largely customized by professionals...
I had to modify the saddle completely, in genuine leather, to adapt it to the frame and make it more streamlined but certainly black, to prevent it from disfiguring the set of geometries of the bike but above all that it did not take away the scene from the splendid metalflake tank, realized by real professionals...
But then it took some essential work: replacement of the clutch, restoration of the electrical system, battery, replacement of brake pads and braided hose, change of fluids and oils, especially the replacement of the rear shock absorbers as the old ones were 350 mm and the set-up was atrocious ... I found, restored and adapted two shock absorbers of a mid-70s Triumph T120... Always recycle!
Then carburetion, painting of some elements to make it homogeneous...

Finally a test drive under a pale early Spring sun... but what a show the mono!! Also a great base for a later bobber... ehehehehe!!
